Excelsior Academy After-School Tutoring Program – Sugar Land
Excelsior Academy will offer after-school tutoring for K-8th grade students at our Sugar Land Center (104 Industrial Blvd, Ste W) beginning weekly on August 3, 2026. This is a great opportunity for parents who would like to ensure their students complete their classwork and prepare for their tests and projects each school week. We can offer help in different subjects, including but not limited to: Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies.
The teacher will be a TEA-certified teacher. Some of the certified teachers we currently have available may be either of the following:
– Mrs. Somdatta Gangopadhyay
– Mr. Raymond Vermillion
– Ms. Lakeithia Walker
We will inform you of the designated available teacher for your student at least 1 week before the start of the after-school program or if it is a different teacher from one of the teachers listed above.
After-School Tutoring is offered Monday-Thursday from 3:45 pm to 5:30 pm. Earlier drop-off arrangements and extended evening to 5:45 pm or 6:00 pm may be available upon request.
Tuition Pricing: $750 monthly per student
Yearly Enrollment Fee: $975 per student per year (applied towards classroom supply use, printing, snacks, and general classroom maintenance)
Classroom ratio: 5 students to 1 teacher to maintain individualized attention

Parents are advised to provide their student with: a folder, 2 pens, 2 pencils, loose-leaf paper and personal device (laptop or tablet). Students should bring all their classroom materials with them each day.
If students complete their work before the tutoring period is over, they may be given enrichment activities. Parents are expected to pick-up their student(s) no later than 5:30 PM. Snacks may be available as much as we can restock; however, we recommend parents to pack an extra snack for their child for after-school.
